Which NIC's are on this board? If its realtek its possible or was possible (certain drivers would break it) to use the ASUS Teaming Utility V2005.

If you have a customer account with ASUS website its possible to download this utility direct from them using the P55 Premium board download section. EDIT i just tried it with the latest drivers, it still locks up your computer when you try and enable teaming (Link Aggregation), it worked with older drivers, i think not the last 2 but the one before but for some reason recent drivers broke it, atleast for EVGA boards, i used the Teaming utility for a while until the drivers broke it on my EVGA X58 board which uses the same realtek NIC's to ASUS boards. If you use older drivers you should be able to use the Teaming Utility or maybe wait for a new version to come out but its been a while since ASUS posted a new version. I am using a P55 FTW e657, with dual Marvell Yukon ethernet controllers in teaming mode. You will need to download the drivers directly from Marvell Yukon's site.

I am running the 11.10.3.3 drivers on win7 64. When you go into the drivers properties, the advanced tab will ask you what form of teaming aggregation to use: basic, static, or dynamic. What's nice is in basic mode you do not require a a link aggregation capable switch. Then in the settings tab, you can manually add the 2 adaptors you have into the team.
