Regards I've only recently started using SNMP so as far as I can tell, it's a black art. I know about 3 snmp commands and just enough to setup a tool (Cacti) to monitor some of the basic stats for me. Although, you may find that helps. There are lots of people making modules or plugins for Cacti to monitor stuff like HP system temperature. Maybe see if you can find one of their modules and get the info you need based on what they've done.
