Have Home Wi-Fi Network which I have had to reinstall. Succesfully re-installed Dell 3300 on network using my Latitude and also installed 964 on my wife's Inspiron running XP. All working perfectly. Cannot instal 964 on my Latitude running XP Pro. Am working as Administrator and am running 964 CD. Am double-clickin on setup. Active Reports Pdf Export. exe.

Brings up the 964 Installation application / wizard; am clicking on 'Network Installation', CD runs (very very quietly) but absolutely nothing happens. Have tried this routine so often that it is just not going to work. Cannot get past that point. Any thoughts please? ( In order to do my own printing am having to email the jobs to the Inspiron).

Rick, Thank you for your interest. 32 bit system. Netgear using WEP on Ch 11. AVG Free 2011. I hope this helps.

Everything used work perfectlyon both Ltitude and Inspiron until I had to do a reinstal. I used a registry cleaner after which I could no longer scan from the 964 due to a fault in some dll in Abby finesprint. Tried all sorts to cure this but all of the time printer/3300 were working perfectly, other than scanning, on both computers.

Software Payroll Indonesia. Eventually i did an uninstall and reinstall of 3300 and 964 and of course the 964 software. Everything working perfectly on Inspiron but, as explained in first email, cannot instal 964 on Latitude; just will not go past that opening screen. John, If both computers with XP have SP2 installed, then You can use WPA-PSK(TKIP) Security(Personal) If still using XP SP1, you can download WPA Security from. WEP can be hacked in a matter of minutes.

When I had my 3300, I used these, I used channel 11. Not sure if AVG Free is causing problems or not, yet. You may want to disable AVG while setting up everything to make sure.

How did you reinstall XP 32-bit on the Latitude? Did you install the notebook utility and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. Do you have any yellow exclaimination marks in the device manager? Since you used a registry cleaner, maybe you might want to try an XP Repair. I recommend making copies of files and folders that you cannot afford to lose.
