I recently acquired a Cisco 2960 switch running IOS 12.2 for use in a home lab (in order to prepare for the CCNA exam). I wanted to configure this router for SSH, but I got an error when I ran the 'crypto key generate rsa' command. Turns out the installed IOS does not support the 'crypto' command. Can someone tell me if I can install IOS 15 on this switch? And if the answer is 'No', what the latest version of IOS that could be installed? Also, on Cisco's website there seem to be many hundreds of IOS versions. Would like some guidance in finding the correct one.
